Dumka (Jharkhand): A glider crashed in Jharkhand’s Dumka district on Monday, killing the engineer and injuring the pilot on board, police stated right here.

Thirty-two-year-old engineer Dharmendra Kumar Singh succumbed to his accidents at a clinic in Dumka whilst the pilot, Captain J P Singh has been referred to a clinic in West Bengal’s Durgapur, Deputy Commissioner Rajeswari B stated.

District Superintendent of Police Y S Ramesh informed PTI that the glider (gentle plane) crashed at Dumka airport on Monday night time. He stated the reason for the crash is but to be ascertained.

Rajeshwari stated the airport, situated round 4 kilometres from Dumka the city, has been sealed and mavens will examine the incident on Tuesday.
