ABVP takes out march in DU for CAA
New Delhi: Members of the RSS-affiliated ABVP on Saturday organised a significant scholars’ march at the Delhi University campus, denouncing alleged Left violence and supporting the Citizenship Amendment Act.
The march began round 1.30 pm at DU’s Arts Faculty and the scholars then proceeded to the Campus Law Centre, Ramjas College, Kirori Mal College, Hansraj College and Daulat Ram College. The march culminated on the Swami Vivekananda statue within the Arts Faculty.
“Today’s march is in give a boost to of CAA. This march may be towards those that are looking to boycott checks, categories to bog down the instructional calender of scholars. It is towards the violence which came about in JNU on January 5,” Delhi University Students’ Union president Akshit Dahiya stated.
The marchers raised slogans in give a boost to of the brand new citizenship legislation and towards Left events. They demanded criminal motion towards the ones focused on violence at JNU and accused the Left organisations of no longer accepting evaluations hostile to their’s.

Nidhi Tripathi, nationwide normal secretary of ABVP, addressed the scholars and accused the Left and different political events of “making a violent environment within the nation via spreading lies and incorrect information about CAA”.
